Baltimore based burlesque performer / pole dancer and
web designer
After having been to a few burlesque shows, I realized that I wanted to add another dynamic to burlesque. I was somewhat interested in pole dancing and believed that the two would be a good combination.
I set out to build up my pole skills, and went to as many burlesque shows as I could. I made the investment in a stage pole in order for me to persue my polesque plans.
My official polesque debut was in Philadelphia, PA in September 2009. I was introduced by Mr Showbiz, Murray Hill and I wasn't sure if my pole would go over well, but it did! I then performed at home in Baltimore a couple more times and I made my burlesque festival debut at The Jim Thorpe Burlesque Festival in March 2010...admittedly a short time from when I first started. After that I further blossomed my education by the great Trixie Little and her burlesque bootcamp, and I am now so excited to take what she taught me and continue on.
My alter-ego/full time job is a web designer. With that web knowledge, and seeing the lack of creativity and fun with corporate sites, I would love to being a strong web presence to burlesque troupes, as well as performers. Naturally I am a bit biased, but I believe that these days when websites are often where people go for more information, its important to look as good as you can.
